Paper crafting is a hobby that, like all scrapbooking genres, allows for the dexterous use of fingers and hands to create something artistic. Comparing this hobby to more hobbies which allow artistic expression through the hands may give some insight into why such hobbies can be valuable.

What hobbies can you think of which have a heavy hand focus as opposed to those which incorporate hand use in a similar quantity to other limb use? Some obvious hobbies include painting, coin collecting, nail art, drawing and some forms of handy-work.

And, interestingly, those who are not born with fingers or hands or, for another reason, do not currently have these limbs can still carry the qualities they represent through the energetic body which represents the physical one.

Understanding the energetic patterns of these aspects of ourselves can possibly provide value in our healing. Importantly, the energetic body, different from the physical one, is said to have energetic equivalents to the physical limbs we have; this is seen as a direct source of characteristics. According to this thinking, every person made of energy has the potential for benefits when the information is available.

What's the information? We can start with the meridians. The system of reflexology connects and compares parts of the body to each other by identifying energetic patterns.

Reflexology is considered a healing modality that can address the issues within the body. According the this system, the middle finger has a connection to the eyes, lungs and the heart at its' base. And the ring finger has connections to the nose. In reflexology, an awareness of the meridians, or energetic centers, allows for an expansion in potential healing in certain areas.

Interestingly, in the middle of the center and base point of the hands exist meridian areas representing the external and internal reproductive areas. Deciding how to use this information for increased reproductive health could be the next wave of "hobby therapy" for some, especially if this group researched and started the enterprise on their own, creating our first collection anecdotes through personal experience and exploration. Sometime later, after interest has been built, scientific experiments could eventually explore and question potential results through traditional means.

The concept of how using these or more other limbs for creative purposes may be interesting enough to launch your own investigation. As you use these limbs with a purpose which involves either healing or amplify a particular characteristic or function of the body, your results may just surprise you.

Wizards and Witches - Are They Good or Bad?

If there was ever a topic open to intense dispute, it would be the subject of witches and wizards. So many people hold such strong convictions about this subject that you would think it was a situation concerning life or death. Are witches and wizards bad? The answer must be yes and no. You must look through history to determine what the final answer may be. If you come to modern day, take a look at the Wizard of Oz. There was a good and bad witch, a wizard and a cast of characters innocently interacting with them all. Harry Potter and his friends were all attending school for witchcraft and wizardry, and regardless of the fundamental outrage, the Potter series is one of the best selling children's books of all times.

These creatures, often human beings with additional knowledge, must be placed into the same category as regular mortals. Some are bad and some are good and some struggle in between. Like their mortal counter parts, these creatures have the free will to use their knowledge for good or bad, leaving the decision of their goodness only to them, not to others.

Fairy tales are filled with witches that perform good and bad deeds. We teach our children right from wrong using these tales, so they cannot possibly be all that bad.

Magic is something that everyone needs in their life in some way. Whether it be a wonderful tale to share with their children or a natural cure for their ailments, magic must become a part of everyone's life to make life worth the effort.


Become A Wizard

You will need to learn to focus your energy to your desired goals to obtain your desired results. You must know your own mind and become closer to the worlds around you. A wizard is possessed with the need to explore, to learn and to know that which is unknown and unseen. To become a wizard, you must pull back the veil and explore your own inner mind. Many fellow wizards do not focus on right or wrong or black magic or white magic. They focus on the magic in general. To some wizards there is no concept of good nor evil. There are many who practice magic but do not have an open channel to their own mind. You must open your mind! Explore one's self. Once you learn to harness your own will you will be able to perform glamour magic. Glamour is a form of magic that allows a wizard to change people's perceptions, to persuade others to see and feel things the way you the wizard want them to. When you are first starting out it can be difficult but if you practice you can and will succeed. Upon meeting new people, you will be able to see their emotions and desires. Once you start to master glamour magic you can make others feel what you want them to feel. Once you have the ability to use glamour magic you will able to cause thoughts and emotions within other people. Glamour magic causes illusions as well such as a temporary visual change. It takes time to master the elements of glamour magic but once you obtain the ability to use it you will be unimaginably powerful. Wizards can also learn the ability to create shades. A shade is a shadow double of the wizard who controls it. Mentally the wizard gives the shadow a purpose and a minuscule thought process. Shadows can be very taxing on a wizard's power but they offer even greater rewards. Once given a task a shadow will get the job done by any means necessary. Once you learn to harness your minds power the universe will be virtually unlocked. You will be bound only by own personal creed and there will be no limits to your raw power.
